DAVE RIVER - CHEVROLET COBALT

DAVE IS THE PRIMARY DRIVER OF THE RIVER RACING CHEVROLET COBALT. HE HAS BEEN RACING FOR ABOUT 35 YEARS AND HAS DRIVEN MANY DIFFERENT CARS ALONG THE WAY, INCLUDING A 70 1/2 Z28 CAMARO, 63' NOVA, 68' CAMARO, 89' FIREBIRD, AND OF COURSE THE PRO STOCK CHEVROLET COBALT. HIS PASSION FOR RACING BEGAN WITH HIS INTEREST TO WORK ON CARS, TRUCKS AND TRACTORS - JUST BUILDING THINGS IN GENERAL. DAVE'S FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING AT THE TRACK IS THE COMRADERY OF THE DRAG RACING SPORT AND THE OPPORTUNITY FOR A UNIQUE INTERACTION WITH THE FANS. WHEN HE IS NOT RACING, DAVE ENJOYS WORKING IN HIS SHOP AND SPENDING TIME WITH HIS KIDS AND HIS GRANDCHILD. IN REGARDS TO THE RACING PROGRAM, THIS YEAR DAVE LOOKS FORWARD MOST TO QUALIFYING AT THE NHRA NATIONAL EVENTS THE RIVER RACING TEAM IS SLATED TO PARTICIPATE IN, AS WELL AS HAVING ROBERT BACK IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT YET AGAIN.
